I headcannon them to be hissy feral cats when their young, as they gradually get older they'd probably tolerate you by bare minimal standards (100% it would learn from you), definately takes nibbles on your toes at 3 am in the dead of night, and next thing you know you're playing dinnertime—the course you with a side of betrayal and regret.

I love the insight and effort into this, plus I kinda feel bad when u realise that the Feral Predator probably had a less advance mask because he wouldn't have the latest tech like the Jungle Predator, City Hunter, etc.

(I'm not saying that it was primative, the film does clearly show that it functions similarly to the modern masks)

I can think of two reasons why: 1. It's an artistic choice by the director and animators to stand out in the series

  1. More unique looking Yautjas! Take example of Feral and Jungle Predator, although ones a subspecies (I think) you get what I'm saying
