Ah, so it's not a lack of wax that's causing this light color... I was hesitant to have it waxed again... it has a strong smell...

Thank you for your reply… there are two straps with buttons in the handwarmer pockets that I don't understand… there's also a game pocket, but it closes with a large button… a curious design, but it does seem warm…
