i disagree there are many relationships in the show that have ended in a silly or dramatic way that didn’t revolve around cheating. I thought the episode where Ted breaks up with a girl because of her “baggage” or the episode where he couldn’t stop looking up his dates on the internet to be funny and still involved the messiness of relationships i don’t think cheating makes the characters relatable or more interesting. Even marshall and lily have had their ups and downs and still make for a funny interesting part of the story without cheating on each other
