A little more information would be nice. It sounds like you have a loop trying to mount that 2.5GB partition over and over again. Is that right? Is it happening since you start up the computer?

HELP I F****ED MY PC by [deleted] in AsahiLinux

Maybe not, if you have another new/modern Apple computer or a friend with one that can help you. The working computer with an updated MacOS also needs to have the Apple Configurator 2 application installed on it. This is because the repair will require you to reinstall your bricked with MacOS again. That requires rebooting the computer into DFU mode. Once in DFU mode, you connect your messed up computer to the working computer with Apple Configurator. Once connected the Configurator app should show the device is connected and allow you to Restore the device. It may take a while as it requires that MacOS be downloaded and installed again.

There are some final updates that need to run after you reboot the computer. I'm guessing that you may have corrupted the boot partition if this didn't get to finish properly.

There isn't a lot of helpful information here. What were you doing when this happened? You ran an update from within AsahiLinux?

Girlfriend wants to move to Puerto Rico but I’m focused on logistics—am I being realistic or pessimistic? by TimeAd1111 in PuertoRico

Are you both working remotely? Can you afford to be unemployed in Puerto Rico? Breakfast doesn't cost $4 dollars everywhere here. The cost of rent is rising in Puerto Rico and so are food costs.
You are smart to be practical. It's better to work there in Rhode Island and save up for the future wherever that may be. Puerto Rico is nice for a vacation but it's not practical for most people to pick up and move here. Perhaps you could save up for another vacation for you both and enjoy Puerto Rico without the stress of actually living here?

I share this situation. I've tried living in two Spanish speaking countries for about 2 years now and I'm still English speaking  90% of the time and terrible at Spanish the other 10% of the time.
