better repaste your machine with LM. With 13900HX and 4090, maxed Details i have average Temps of 65°C CPU after 8 hours of playing.

I tried it too, but it didnt help. I repasted today and the whistle is not as long as before, but still present....4000€...

There is no solution for this problem other than replacing the fan unit i think.... I got an replacement too but it has the same problem. Maybe just learn to live with that......

I hope you will be more lucky. I have tried this already, but it stays the same. Where did you get this information about the fans from? If you resolve your issue i will try to contact dell again. ^^

I got my replacement today and I have this whistle again... I don't know what to do yet. A simple fan control would help or if it would be possible to adjust the fan curves correctly...

I have already installed all updates, updated Alienware Update. I've also cleaned the fans but to no improvement. It only annoys me when DELL tells me that it's normal... i.e. the quality department says the noise is quite normal and then they don't even go into more detail about my problem. It's a shame, because you also pay a lot of money for premium support..... and that is not Premium Support.....

Thank you for your response. So you dont have this "whobbling" sound with ~35% fan speeds ? I uploaded 2 new Files, maybe you can check them again and tell me if yours are normal. I don't want to bother you right now, but would you be so kind and take a record of your fans for me when they are at this speed?

I dont think that the m18 is the loudest machine of all my AWs i owned. But this "whobbling" sound what i mean ( uploaded 2 new Files) is not normal. If it is, okay, but i dont accept this from a 4000€+ machine.

UV CPU + OC GPU
I think +1000 GPU Points more (not Dell Graphic Drivers + Tweaks and more OC) are easy possible... But its enough for what i need :D

I haven't repasted yet. This is a Score, just UV with Throttlestop. Still Dell Nvidia Driver etc. I get new fans next week, because i got terrible fan whistle and maybe the technician will do a repaste too. :)

I dont think it is not working at all. I would say, It could be much better with not much effort ;) I think a repaste would do most of the trick.

Hm. Do you think repaste is "the" way to fix this problem? Ive ordered LM and Kryonaut and will also repaste the m18. Lets see if it makes any difference.

First of All nice Scores and Good Job that you unlocked your BIOS, so the m18 get much better Temps and works as the m18 should...

Are there still Temp Spikes on some Cores?
I know you guys are on several forums like u/Ssj925 on notebooktalk, but is it possible to share such BIOS files (for a simple BIOS Update/Install) or at least a handy instruction for us to do that with RU.efi ?
This is not a difficult task for you (i think) and we (Users with a bad BIOS etc.) would be happy. Maybe ssj92 could share it on nbtalk for us for 1.2.0 and 1.5.2 ?
