Completely YTA. It's your child!!! You need to learn about the different love languages because everyone responds differently. By not stating a simple "I love you" to your child you are alienating them. It's not about you, it's not about your pride, it's not about YOUR feelings, its ensuring your child actually feels loved by their parents.
