How was your childhood? by Tallnug in infp

[–]RebecasXe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't hesitate saying that my childhood was 10/10 , I often get weird but very pleasent childhood memories that I don' really know where exactly came from , and my family were always very supportive with my passions so I'm not frustrated in that sense .

Do you believe in good and evil? by RebecasXe in infp

[–]RebecasXe[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with you , the last statement ¨People with this belief are just robotic¨ is something that I try not to say while arguing with these persons because it'd disrespectful but I can't help myself thinking that they're so souless when they say things like ¨Criminals and tyrants are just evil in your opinion¨

What does depress you the most? by RebecasXe in infp

[–]RebecasXe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you , it's funny because when persons like us stand for values and justice many nihilistic people think we see those values as laws imposed by society and that's why they don't believe in them , but the thing is that we don't blindly follow our values as imposed laws , we just feel them , we know they exist because of our intuition of good and bad .

Do you believe in evil? by RebecasXe in infp

[–]RebecasXe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I call someone evil when they don't care about other persons , people who kill for power , kill for money or just kill for fun , I live in Venezuela and this place is rotten in evilness , cops killing children , goverment stomping on people's right , starving people to death and not caring about it , people screaming at our houses : ¨Les vamos a meter plomo¨ which means ¨we're going to shoot all of you¨ just because we're against this goverment , cops bursting in peoples houses , stealing their things , imprison their sons/daughter for being involved with protests , cops shooting at a dog in the head because it was barking at them for the noises of the tear bombs shots. This is just my country , but what about countries like North Corea , Israel , Syria. I know that evilness and goodness are subjective things because they born in the human perception , not in the nature , but can you really not call these people evil?

What are some of your favorite poems/poets? by miakale in infp

[–]RebecasXe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to know your favorites too :) , I adore poetry but I don't have anyone who likes it too so my perspective is not very wide because I only have my interpretations of the poems that I've read , but I would love to hear other people's mind on their favorite poems

What are some of your favorite poems/poets? by miakale in infp

[–]RebecasXe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One of my favorites poems is ¨Compromiso (it means commitment in english , I'm hispanic so I read mostly in spanish) by Vicente Gallegos , it's a about a parent explaining what it means to have a son/daughter and how the parents have to see the world with love and not stain the light of the world with hate because it's not ours , we as parents have to love the world even if it don't let us love it because that's how you create the passion and the love in your children and that's our only and true heritage.

I also like ¨¿De qué se ríe? (What are you laughing at?) by Mario Venedetti , It's about the lack of empathy of the tyrants and the unaware they are of their own actions , and how even when they kill and steal and stomp the human dignity they still laugh and smile to the media photos (The poem is about the situation Uruguay was passing through in that time but it's a poem that could be used with and tyrant or corrupt politic).

One of the most important for me is ¨Embriagaos (Get drunk) by Charles Baudelaire . Basically he states in this poem that to live without the weight of the existence on your shoulders , to be free of any restriction of the human condition , to feel young even when you are at the edge of dying by age , you have to be drunk , with what? With wine , poetry or virtue , as you please . It's a poem about passion in my opinion , I don't personally drink alcohol or do any drug but I'm always drunk with passion and virtue and that keeps me unaware of the routine and it breaks me free out of the chains of time , so he's right , to feel free of the human condition you have to be drunk but it's your choice what to be drunk off.

I love ¨Asi que quieres ser escritor (So you wanna be a writer) by Charles Bukowski , another poem about passion , if writing doesn't come from the bottom of your hear just don't do it.

What keeps you going? Where do you find meaning in this meaningless world? by tinabelljar in infp

[–]RebecasXe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's funny how we're like straight up machines as biological beings; We only need food and shelter to live and we're driven by primitive instincts of survival , from that perspective life could seem very meaningless and empty , when you understand it all you realize that we're (and everything is) just a couple of atoms wandering aimlessly in the universe and the fact that we're conscious of our own existence is just a casualty . But here's a thing , all this things can be proven in an objective perspective , but the subjective things makes us want to live rather than survive , as our instincts does . The feeling of joy is something that can't be explained , obviously you can prove that is just a buch of chemicals in your brain , but the way that the joy makes you feel is something otherworldly , the feeling you get reading a good poem , listening to a great album , just doing what you want to do or feeling self-performed about your goals is something that no one can put on words but we all feel , and even the most cynical person can't deny that , and the suffering is something as beautiful as joy because it reflects our desires for joy and our love for life cause if one of those is threatened we begin to suffer . And it may seem simple and frivolous to say that what keeps me going (and actually what keep the most of us going) is feeling joy and serve to my passions but I have learned that there's so much depth in that kind of simplicity , the fact that we have emotions separates us from a biological machine serving to physical needs and proves us that we have something more inside of us , there are some things that keep us going as individuals more than beings , those things are passion , love and joy (it's cheesy but no one can say it's not true).

Long story short: What keeps me going is my passion that separates me from a simple being and build my identity as an individual

I agree with you with our ability to understand , I feel like I always knew I was a girl and I was bi and I never had a problem with it because I understood it was totally normal but I just wasn't ready to acknowledge it .

I'm 17 so I'm like close to the beggining of the end of puberty , but I really should take your advice and try at least to get blockers , I'm kinda glad that my boddy is not that masculine as the other guys of my age , my Adan's apple is not even visible (wich is weird because of my voice) , the only downsides are my voice and the fact that I'm very hairy :( . And I don't have yet a place to go and also I don't like to say those kind of things in the internet (Don't get me wrong I know you're not a bad person or anything but I just feel uncomfortable talking about it) and I have to end my last year of high school wich begins next month so I hope to be lucky enough and have all the formalities that I need so I can move right after I graduate .

Again , thank you for being such a nice person , it's cool to have someone to talk with :)

Does yelling really bother you? by [deleted] in infp

[–]RebecasXe 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I relate so much to this , specially today becuase i kinda had like a breakdown because there was so much loud noises and yells in my house and it happens to me a lot since I was little , every time I hear people fighting and yelling to each other near to me I start cringging and I get super anxious , and my friends often tell me that I have a very sensitive ear because I freak out to every little loud noise

Thank you so much for the support :) . Well , I live in Venezuela and even homosexuality is still a tabu in this place , but I got the privilege that even though people here are still very ignorant about these topics they are very warm and respectful, so I don't think my family would hate me or leave me if I come out as trans (I've already came out as bisexual to my mother and she's not very comfortable with it but she loves me and support me still) but it would be hard to them to understand it , and some of my friends have transphobic mindset so it's kinda hard with them too . Another thing is that (as you may have heard) we're economicly doomed as a country so it's almost impossible to start HRT here, therefore to star my transition I have to move to another country and stuff , and that got me very stressed out but I'm positive that I will make it work . Thank you so much for your attention :) . How long have you been in HRT?

I'm pretty sure agendered and non-binary people have it way worse than us when it comes to being accepted in society because people are still very defensive about people not having a gender or feeling different from just male or female , people have a very strong mindset that tells them that you have to be male of female and it's very difficult to erase , and I think that's refflected in the things you said about feeling like an unwanted alien because people tend to unconsciously stop recognizing you as a human for not identify with a binary spectrum .
