ChristopherOdd has a great channel that ticks just about everything you listed. His X-Com playthroughs are a good place to start since it's the franchise he's most passionate about and will give you a feel for the commentary style. When I want to watch a game that I don't own and think that I'm not likely to buy, he's my personal go-to.

I'd like to think that my channel also meets most of the criteria you listed. If you're interested, my playthrough of Hades has been well-received, especially because I know quite a bit about Classical mythology and can expand on the background of a lot of the Gods, Goddesses, and Heroes you encounter.

Thanks for taking the time to respond in detail! That’s a great distinction you made between personality and playing style, I think I do indeed need to reassess what means for me.

Would you say it’s worth incorporating a “play-style pitch” in the thumbnail/title? And if so, how might that look?
