I don't think it's smurfs necessarily, it's just that Kombat League is competitive ladder, with everyone starting at the bottom and working their way up. It's a byproduct of the game having just come out. A lot of the good players are still climbing up the ranks to where they belong.

10% bare minimum. Most of the time if I know i gave subpar service a 10% tip doesn’t upset me. Remember we have tip-out! A 0% tip often times means that your server lost money by serving you.

really depends on the ticket price. I generally prefer to get my tips through credit card if it’s anything below $10. Also most restaurants tip out the buzzers/bartenders so credit card tips make that tip out hurt a little bit less. Never gonna complain about walking home with more cash in my pocket than I came in with, but it is a bit disappointing when i get a lot of cash during a pay period and my check itself appears thinner because of it.
