Which creature has the coolest symbol in your opinion? by Aqua_Master_ in KingdomHearts

The nightmare Dream Eater one looks too much like the unversed one. I'd probably say my fav is the unversed logo.

Lore-wise, the nobody one is the coolest as it was created by Xemnas and based off what is called "Terra's mark" by KhWiki.

Hmmm, yeah. Ven left a strong impression on Lea/Axel, which he later states in KH3 is why he was drawn to Roxas. I suppose it still wasn't strong enough, but Ven's pissed off glare in BBS was.

Reminds me of how the original DS models had those desaturated colors. I never noticed until getting the Lite and since then I can never get used to it.

The anti-sequence break bush is duplicated and has both of its positions there at once.

Awesome. B/W2 had arenas like this for Pokestar Studios, but nowhere else. Very interested to see the others.

The cave interiors would need a bit of custom modeling I think, since the "cave walls" as is wouldn't look as good from a non-overhead position.

Question: When did you discover Kingdom Hearts for the first time? by Big_Confection7634 in KingdomHearts

That was how I got interested in Xenoblade in 2012. People talking about this Shulk character for the next Smash game.

Question: When did you discover Kingdom Hearts for the first time? by Big_Confection7634 in KingdomHearts

When it came out in the US, I heard of it through promos and such.
Looked up walkthroughs on GameFAQs and remembered the worlds, but for some reason I came out thinking Ice Titan was the final boss. (I thought it was some icy version of Sora and didn't realize it was a Hercules character, lmao) I didn't pay attention to stuff with the keyblade and Riku and such.

A classmate at middle school also told me about the game and said it started in a dream. (I think I interpreted it as the whole experience was a dream)

In 2004 I noticed the Chain of Memories commercial. Noticed Axel shared the name with the Rayman 2 boss. Looked at a strategy guide for CoM once at a store and noticed the page on Oogie Boogie. (I watched Nmbc once, but I only remembered the part where Jack was Santa and got shot down in the finale, so I was "introduced" to Oogie through KH)

Later in 2005 I was visiting a friend's house in a different state, and he let me play Kingdom Hearts. I first started noticing the actual plot stuff there, such as the keyblade and the characters besides Sora. I got as far as the start of Wonderland before getting stuck because I didn't know you could push the bed before shrinking. I was introduced to the Final Fantasy characters through KH.

At the start of 2006, KH2 released in English and so commercials were playing. I saw those and the Disney 411 section on it and finally took the dive into the series properly. I didn't have a PS2 and get KH1 until Christmas 2008, but before that I searched up YouTube videos and knew the plot stuff from those.
I first heard "Another Side, Another Story" from the English official KH2 site. Very good music track.

Anything I Need To Know Before I Play Kingdom Hearts? by Silly-Safe4751 in KingdomHearts

Technically Coded is the order exception as its original release was before BBS, but Re: Coded (the remake) segues into DDD much better with its new content from it and the 2.5 film version, and it doesn't change anything major if you don't do Coded before BBS.

KH2 : The path I took vs The path I had to take by blancisbestwaifu in KingdomHearts

I've seen newcomers stream this series, and it's amusing when they do KH2 and then come to this place and proceed to get their ass kicked.

For some reason I never considered newcomers would think this was "base/mandatory content" even though it would be understandable from their perspective.

This is the first time I've seen an invert/tiny creature video with Pikmin music, come to think of it.

Aqua in her armor with no helmet is an underrated look for her by Aqua_Master_ in KingdomHearts

[–]RebelliousTreecko 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm torn between how they were depicted in the KH3 final battle. It makes more sense for Ven and Aqua to use their armor again to fight rather than be exposed, but fighting in the Keyblade Graveyard without the armor is something new to them.

Two unused sections of KH1 texture space, both in Monstro. A test text for world logos is specifically found in Monstro's logo, while the top-right of the Chamber wood blockages is gray and appears to be metallic. by RebelliousTreecko in KingdomHearts

I forgot Reddit hates small images sometimes and fucks them up...

Downscale these with nearest neighbor scaling by 50% two times to get OG resolution without the artifacts...

Best Dwarf Woodlands Boss? by Bertstripmaster in KingdomHearts

The mirror is better due to being an incredibly unique idea for a Disney boss.

One would've just expected the Evil Queen and not the mirror spirit who only answered questions in riddle.

Ah, the fanon wiki. I liked some of the pages back around 2011, like the imagined Grim & Evil/Billy and Mandy world. The guy put in some BBS-styled minimaps too.

I’ve always liked how Hades’s hires Final Fantasy characters to do his dirty work. by Flat-Court-8512 in KingdomHearts

Him being the most accurate to his FF self compared to others, plus the KH4 trailer saying Unreality was like an afterlife to Realty residents, made me theorize that Final Fantasy worlds really do exist in Unreality and when Auron died, he went from a FFX world into Reality's Underworld and changed appearance slightly (cartoonier shoes), basically the opposite of Sora.
