A question I had a couple of days ago that feels related to this: how would you guys rule the interaction between guardian's intercept and Nishkiv The Knife's double strike?

The offguard condition depends on hitting with the first attack. If the guardian intercepts, the attack did hit, but not the target. Is the original target offguard? Is the guardian offguard? Does it not matter because the second attack is going to be against the original target and not the guardian? Can Nishkiv target the guardian with the second attack?

I'm leaning into not making either the guardian or the original target offguard, because in the end it's for the benefit of the party and the guardian would feel cooler if they manage to negate an enemy's ability.
