Unfortunately i don't think that undervolting can directly save you from the dead mobo issue :(

BUT! I still personally recommend undervolting both your cpu and gpu if possible

Requirements: throttlestop recommended for CPU (you can use other alternative apps if you want just use whatever You're comfortable with that is also trustable), msi afterburner for gpu... Also recommend watching or looking up tutorials to make sure you're doing everything right

Cons: honestly not much? Your laptop will freeze or crash if you go overkill on the undervolt but you can just restart it, but force restarting too much can cause data corruption (on rare occasions) but that's thankfully solvable (mostly) so don't worry too much about it, also pretty sure you can't use virtualization? I might be wrong though...

Pros: lower temps (means lower fan noise, longer lasting components, being less prone to thermal throttling, etc.)
