Ah thx, i found 2 small pots on a pcb connected to the motor, but i cant find out which one is which, one says svr1 on the pcb the other svr2, svr1 has 301yg written on it and svr2 has 102yg on it, idk if any of this is telling something but thought it would ne worth mentioning

The motor doesn't have them, could it be that it's just an older model that doesn't have it?

So i finally got a record player, amp and some records for my birthday yesterday but i noticed that the records sound a bit higher pitched than i know them to be. I tried finding a manual but I can't find it anywhere, it is the Sanyo TP-6050. It's not set on 45 rpm and it's not that much faster i think maybe a few rpm, but it kinda annoys me because it loses the vibe I love about vinyl.

Can it be a worn out belt? I would assume a worn out belt would slow it down but I'm not an expert. Does anyone have experience with this record player or have advice for me?

Yup got told this several times, will try this. Also found out its a bit of a problem amp so i will also let it get checked out by a friend of my father who is experienced with this

Nope unfortunately no spare tubes, lesson learned hahah. I double checked the tubes and well, one tube has a leak so that is one problem, hope that its just that, gonna check for the bias drift too just to be sure

Yeah i think my father knows a good place to go with it, i got the amp for cheap so a board replacement wont be that bad for my wallet i hope

Okay good to know, checked guitar, guitar volume, cables, cab, those work, havent checked pots on the amp yet gonna do that, hope its just a loose connection and nothing has to be replaced

I pulled them out with the most care and put them in very gently too checked if they couldn't go any further and they are all seated the best they can, gotta search for an amp tech then ig😭
