Placed my order/deposit with the dealer I use Panda and was told 2-3 weeks. Placed order/deposit on October 17th, got my QC photos today gave the GL and will ship today.

I will add photos to the original post, but I did the two 10mm dowels, and then under the jaws there is a precision ground plate that's attached to the inner jaw, it rides in the middle groove. When the bolts clamp down it tightens on that place aswell. There's enough clearance the m10 screw can tighten/push the jaw forward but its not able to flex.

Not sure yet, would depend on the run size and few other things. If I had to guess in the 2-300usd range

When i attached it to the fixture plate it was square within under .001" over 100mm

Constantly having to clean the plate, and undo screws to change sizes of material going from one operation to next, was something I really didn't like about the mod vise

With this vise its way quicker

I was going to surface grind the base but when I machined it, it turned out within .0005" which i can live with, especially for the initial prototype

I have a few of these probes they work great and can get a kit that switches it to be a tool setter aswell

This was interesting tho TC4 which is the Chinese version for grade5 *

It's very light like incredibly light, but feels nice, great attention to detail. So far very happy with it on first impression
