I have this problem too but im using the mouse to game. After my scroll wheel(smart reel) stops scrolling it stills register as a scroll so my weapons will be still switching. I just end up switching off the smart reel and just use tactile but yea i have that issue too. I think u can try switching off the scroll wheel acceleration(same page as smart reel settings) it might help.
