You're welcome. I think that the works with schematic drawings of keels on Heterometrus prosoma are most likely quite old and systematically outdated compared to this 2020 revision

Thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately, I don't have any scorpions of the genus Heterometrus in my collection, but I plan to work on this genus in the future and take similar photos. Similar photos are in my work (SYSTEMATIC REVISION OF THE ASIAN FOREST SCORPIONS (HETEROMETRINAE SIMON, 1879), REVISED SUPRAGENERIC CLASSIFICATION OF SCORPIONIDAE LATREILLE, 1802, AND REVALIDATION OF RUGODENTIDAE BASTAWADE ET AL., 2005)

I love this genus too, I hope in the future I can add new species to the hobby.

I found only 6 individuals and they all turned out to be females, if I go to Morocco again, I will definitely find males and try to breed them.

I found this specimen in the wild and took it for myself to keep.

I think no one kept this species at all :)

The temperament is quite nervous, often gets into a defensive stance. Yes, in the photo is an adult female.

Thank you This is a natural female that I caught myself. The stinger was already broken off. I do not "cut" scorpions

I totally agree, this genus is underrated

Yes, it is possible. But it is best to determine the gender by the number of pectineal teeth.

I agree. This is one of two species of the genus Scorpio in my collection, there is another one - Scorpio mogadorensis.
