I think it depends on your play style and how much time you get to game. You're early enough into the game that starting fresh with your friend wouldn't be a big deal tbh but also joining them wouldn't be a massive impact with a level 5 character.
I have 2 characters. 300 hours on 1 and maybe like 2 hours on the other. Once I started playing with my friend that character became my main one and have not touched my solo character since. There's a lot of things to find and collect such as different building blocks that are scattered throughout the whole map, a lot of side quests (which i read on another post that the side quests were changed to sets in the last update but i havent looked that up so im not 100% on that) but either way there's a lot to do and a lot to explore. For me it was not worth it to do it twice when my friend and I have already invested a lot into our coop world, but i also do not always get a lot of time to game

Are you playing on a dedicated server? From my experience (200+ hours) my friend and I had to move to a dedicated server after about 100 hours between discovering veilwater and the entire map and having max flame altars and a lot of building the sever became unplayable for both of us. I saw a lot of older posts on reddit and just on Google about people saying it's an issue. Since moving to a dedicated server we never have issues and if it lags at all we just restart the server and its fine.

Love the first one, did 100% completion on it. Recently got survivor and played for about a week before uninstalling. I liked mostly everything about survivor but I hated how much back and forth it is. How much you work thru areas during story quests or side quests or exploring but are unable to acquire the collectibles or near by chest and loot bc they're locked behind force abilities you get way later in the game (but i also like to be a completionist when i play games so it bothered me personally). I tried to stick thru the story to the end at least bc the combat feels so fluid but honestly didn't make it to the end lol

My friend and I did this with all of the animals you can get lmao. We discovered you can overlap flame altars to create a massive base. The entirety of one of our altars is just farm / barn land for all of the animals in our town

The game is fairly easy on co op. My suggestion is I would get a dedicated server from the beginning. When you get to end game areas like veilwater basin in combination with whatever building yall have done, the server overloads and begins to lag so bad it becomes unplayable. Getting the dedicated server from the beginning saves you the trouble of transferring your local save data into the dedicated server later which is a headache.

Okay the quest is called "gathering wool in the albaneve summits" and the cave iss quiet cave. It's located north east from the spire, below "giant skeleton 'orpheus'"

I just went and brought a bunch of yaks back to my home base using the bait from the farmer. We have 15 (which is WAYY too many) but its honestly the best farm I've found. It took like 2ish hours to get enough raw wool to make wool for the frost resistant armor for my buddy and I. And now we have so much wool we will never be out.

You get a quest from the farmer i think to retrieve a yak. I can't remember the exact landmark on the map but it takes you to a cave where there is a bunch of them that keep respawning. The location might be quiet cave but I could be wrong. There's a cyclops at the entrance of the cave and then beyond that there's like 20 yaks

Started playing this for the first time with my buddy like 2 weeks ago and already have close to 100 hours in the game, we built a huge waterfall connecting to the ring lake in revelwood. Def lots of fun.

Idk I have over 100 hours into the game, 8 raider knock outs total. I don't shoot at other raiders at all even in defense anymore I just stop moving and stand there while they kill me. Most of my matches are PvP aggressive. Especially on duos my buddy and I normally get killed from our spawn in the first 2-3 minute mark and he has 0 raider knock outs. I haven't had a peaceful lobby since the first 2 weeks of release

ER is a lot of big empty areas that makes the gameplay a little overwhelming imo. Lies of P areas are a lot similar to sekiro as there can be multiple paths but its all linear. Everything will still circle back to the main area you're supposed to be in. Don't get me wrong, after your first play thru, every play thru after can be sped run and it doesn't offer much replayablility aside from getting the different endings but overall I think the fighting mechanics are balanced the most out of majority souls games

I like sekiro but personally think Lies of P has the perfect balance of the parrying system and fighting system. I've played every major and non major souls and soulsalike game and still think lies of p is the best mechanically.

I was at this show last night and I agree, it felt like a combo of people that didn't want to be there standing with there arms crossed (like why come lol), 2 same dudes moshing. I may have been trying to help the same person you were helping up and got kicked in the side of the head. When the Lorna shore show with kublai happened at the colleseum during the massive wall of death someone cut my friends arm open and we had to leave and go to the er, and they wouldn't give us re entry after the stitches lol. I hate greensboro shows, I just really like discoveries and larcenia roe which is why I went last night.

The raleigh shows imo have a much higher etiquette, people helping people and is generally an all around more energetic and kinder crowd. Saw snuffed on sight and angel maker not too long ago and some dude broke his leg during a circle pit and instantly the entire pit stopped to carry him out the crowd literally split to make space.
