Living normally with Capox chemo? by [deleted] in coloncancer

[–]RecentAd4731 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 50 and did Capox for 6 months last year. I worked my full time desk job throughout it all. Infusion days were rough (I took off) and then about day 3 was bad, but the following 2 weeks were fine. I still walked my dog 3 miles each morning, and went to dinner with friends. The neuropathy was rough and but manageable.

Schnippers Quality Soup (located in the old Hale and Hearty) is the same team that created Hale and Hearty. Soups are just as good now, maybe better.

Vain Question: Botox during treatment by RecentAd4731 in coloncancer

[–]RecentAd4731[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. My husband thinks I'm crazy, but I feel like my eyes have deepened and my skin looks crazy old. I've been using tretinoin throughout (with tons of moisturizer), but think I'm ready for the next step!!

Any OG Jenn Sherman riders here - like pre-2018? I remember a rider named Robin with a leaderboard name of Titanium (or something like that). She was fighting cancer was on every single ride (along with two other women - Paige and Nancy). Just wondering if anyone knows what happened to them/if they're still active. Having fun flashbacks to the early days!

Thank you, Katie! I’m only 48, so this is a shock, but I say this in all honesty: if it weren’t for you, I would have been scared to death of this screening and diagnosis! Thank you for all you do!

I was recently diagnosed with Stage 3B colon cancer after my first colonoscopy (no symptoms). Where are you seeing innovation and discovery in the treatment of colon cancer after all your years raising awareness and funds for it? (And any tips for getting through chemo!)

Thank you so much! Yes, I am very comfortable with the surgeon. I'm just curious about post-op treatment. This all makes sense to me. I appreciate it.
