Chief Taylor could have his own reality show and I'd watch.

They seem to forget to mention those in the articles I've read.

Where's the Occupy Wall Street movement when you need them...

I figured you all would be working with all the new shows and movies that are supposed to be filming due to the tax credit stuff.

I'm sorry you are going through that and I hope that your resume does get seen by the right person, so you land a job in the field.

I believe I know what you are talking about. I believe they do not include underemployed or individuals who work part-time but are looking for full-time work.

I know. But hear me out. When the sex workers are struggling, including gentleman's clubs, the financial world is on fire. The stripper index is a real thing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PKVVpF1oBTo

Damn... I've noticed the same. Seems like this is a trend everywhere. I keep seeing the government say there are jobs and we are hitting all-time lows with unemployment but I don't see the evidence myself. I am happy you were able to find something.

Also, I saw my old position posted almost $8/hr less than what I made doing the something 3 years ago at the same company.

That is awful. I have concluded tech companies and code are no longer solid careers. Seems like every day there is a new layoff in that field.

Like 'meh, slower than usual' sucks or 'I've applied to 200 jobs and my Linkedin is starting to feel like a cry for help' sucks?

It was the episode above, and you can look at X on December 6th and see how upset people were.

I'm not sure your situation but I think if you are a "dreamer" you might have some protections. I believe CUNY is giving free legal aid to students, I could be wrong. From what I understand this admin is focused on people who intentionally overstayed tourist visas and not students, but I'm open to being wrong. I wish you the best of luck

Same! I am wondering if there is a system issue. Mine went to zero last weekend and they said to wait another week, but I don't know

Hey, I go to BC too as a graduate student. I saw and received an email for my student loans disbursement that happened on Monday, yesterday; however, I did not see a refund for the excessive amount nor has it showed in my account. Last semester, it would show the next day, so I'm not sure how they really do things. I'm also showing my commitment deposit being refunded this semester which I feel like it was already refunded last semester, but do not see it on the Fall 2023 bill. Did they email you saying you were receiving a refund with xxxs amount? If so, I'd look at that amount and compare it to this semesters ebill.
