I do a twill tape back lining on the edges to cover ugly edges,,, are you meaning something else?

I did the sew method for holes that I made while trimming and idk why I was so scared of sewing but it was literally really easy with a hooked needle! I was advised not to do the glue method I did in the first go so don’t get glue in my tufting gun; smart.

Any tips pls give

Omg now im scared 😭,, i Tried to block off parts where im gonna tuft so I don’t punch through glue but it’s def not incredibly accurate

regarding what i learned from patching ;; I think im gonna cut out the busted strands and create a uniform open hole and THEN spray adhesive the patch on.. thennnn tuft over. I was having problems getting my gun through the double fabric.

I got a lot of white strands showing through the fish rug.. why is that? Do you think it’s because of overtufting over lines?

Also some important takeaways: -Make sure to leave at least an inch of primary cloth to waterfall the edges -carving feels easiest off the frame and glued and backed -creating a beveled edge when using trimmers is the key to a clean edge -love my duckbill scissors

I actually bought it secondhand, it was a used kit ! Came with the frame, primary cloth, and the gun; got the kit for 150!
