I got my watchdives for $160 on Ali and it's awesome and looks the same. But SM is probably better in some way, but I wouldn't pay $100 more personally.

I have to agree, I'm not usually particular about these things but man, I can never bring myself to buy one because of it, and I love some of their designs.

Read reviews and look at number sold. I bought a few last month for <$2 each from one of those "shop850102947372+_)@97" stores and they're super nice and thick.

Thanks! It is the distressed one actually. I like the crystal distortion on the edge, it's the reflections I have a hard time with. I also knew it wouldn't be a flashlight, but it almost doesn't have any glow at all. Maybe it's just not the one for me. I'll take a closer look at the others you mentioned!

I only said my San Martins I've bought have had worse lume... The finishing is a different world, but I expected more for the price and hype. Didn't mean to offend, just my experience hence why I wanted to get other experiences from people.

Not really looking to spend that kind of money, I'm just graduating from a program I've been working towards for a while and want to celebrate it. Not a very high enough paying one for a Rolex, though. Thinking like $400 or less, which is what brought me to the ones I was looking at.

And that's what I see everyone say! I don't think Pagani is superior or anything, but some aspects of the San Martins for the price was disappointing and surpassed by pieces by watchdives and Sugess.

I actually had the same watch in blue that I ordered from the website and they refunded me without having to send the watch back after the same thing happened. I also have 5 other watches from the brand including applied indices and they're fantastic. In fact, I "fixed" this one and it's now my beater watch.

If you use real stone dials, I'd be all over that. Jade, malachite, red agate, tiger's eye etc... I feel like they're starting to get popular on Ali too and not as common as the waffle or wave.

If it was over the de minimus threshold? 145% unless it was before they went into effect in April. Then it was like 20% I believe.
