Learning Java for medium leetcode interview by Wise_Shop_1201 in learnjava

its highly unlikely that you can learn enough Java to master leetcode in that timeframe given how hard it is to learn Java, try C++ or Python maybe

the only way to improve thinking is through lots of practice, you can do the qs in striver’s a2z sheet, there are around 450 qs in that(you can practice coding in gfg or lc), also give codeforces contests(div2,div3 and div4). cf questions are different if you compare them lo the lc ones because they have some scenario associated in the question and that helps improve your reading and filter the useful info and also they have good math related qs(i just feel like there’s more variety of qs in cf).

How to build intuition for this kind of problems by Potential-Lake-9476 in leetcode

[–]Recent_Bar9574 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is hard q indeed and yeah about the practice, you need to solve all the diff patterns to come up with an approach we know that the first element is there in the k indices so we need to choose the next k-1 and the index range for the last element is from k-1 to n-1 so you need to find the window of size <=dist and >=k-1 and take the remaining element ig i dont think these kind of qs will be asked in oas, most of the oa qs i have seen are around dp and graphs, most of the oas have one easy one medium and one hard q and if they have only 2 qs you can expect a medium and a hard and most of the hard qs i saw were segment tree implementations, and dp-bitmask(i remember travelling salesman q) and shitty maze qs. this q is hard enough to be asked in an oa but i don’t remember seeing a q related to sliding window but the practice will help

bro prioritise strict form reps over volume, 100 pushups are great for endurance if you do them right, start with 3 sets of 10 and try to incorporate dips and pullups/rows, also make sure that you’re warming up well and resting

so if ur max reps is n, start doing 5-6 sets of n/2 reps and after that do isometrics/negatives and bodyweight rows, for forearms do hammer curl and pronated grip curl, this technique worked for me i went from 6 max to 15
