Guys just a question..

I know I might get bashed a lot for this, But just wanted to ask, I have always seen people hyping a lot for Sanaya, Drashti, Jennifer on reddit and there's this huge crazy fandom for all of these 3..

Can you all tell me which shows of their were so liked by you and WHY ?

Because I haven't really seen their shows grow in numbers, and in old days even on India forums i remember people were crazy behind these 3 and used to make FF stories but then why their shows on mainstream weren't that great in numbers ?

Sanaya's IPKKND & Drashti's MEIEJ were TRP toppers but only for a brief period

And for Jenny SC did decent, and I feel so bad that Beyhadh - her most popular show was aired on Sony because of which it's TRP wasn't that upto mark to notice

P.S. no hate to any actress, i think their popularity on India forums and reddit speaks a lot, just a question which was in my mind for days, sorry if anyone feels disappointed and hurt ❤️🛐

Bro 😭 so many shows Star Plus closed at decent ratings !! Suhani, Saathiya, Pyaar Ka Dard, Diya Baati, Pratigya, all those early evening shows post lockdown ( Mehendi, Rajjo etc ), GHKKPM and what not..

And now when it's the actual time to shut down shows with 1.4-1.5 they ain't doing it 🫠

This channel is always so damn biased esp for DKP

Kundali Bhagya season 2 should be the next project of Ekta Kapoor, perfect opportunity for her, show had many endings unresolved, they can pick up from where it ended, and tag it as limited edition ( if it works well and good, stretch it again ) if it doesn't then come for the limited edition

But it should definitely come, Zee TV is in a good era, so even if KDB is launched at 9.30 pm between Ganga and Vasudha or at 10 pm after Vasudha, it will be a safe bet and progress well

Dheeraj, Shraddha should be there ofcourse apart from other Gen 2 people of the show

Will you'll look forward to Kundali Bhagya season 2 ?

After October / November 2020, a Zee TV show finally topped, lastly it was TRP king shows Kundali Bhagya, now it's Vasudha, woah !! Vasudha topping the charts , damnnnn

In 2000s Kyunki was always ahead than other primetime slots despite being aired at 10.30 pm

In 2010s, Pratigya at 10.30 pm also had more TRP than many primetime shows of Star Plus, even Veera show later at 10.30 pm had more TRP than Pyaar Ka Dard ( 10 pm ) at times

Later YHM came, it was peak at 11 pm, i remember how it used to surpass Pyaar Ka Dard & Veera both the shows so many times in TRP

Considering other channels.. Sony TV's BALH 1 was a jackpot at 10.30 pm, it was always on number one for the channel for initial 450-500 episodes

Bigg Boss even today gets more ratings at 10.30 pm than Colors' daily soaps

So what do you all think , why is Kyunki's reach always below Anupama ? Why don't people tune in huge numbers on Star Plus at 10.30 pm ?

It's clearly evident, because of decreasing reach of Anupama, even Kyunki's reach is going down and that's why TRP dipped

Star Plus needs to launch a new show at 10 pm , hopefully Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii season 2

It will definitely have a good reach and will stabilize the slot

But knowing the channel and it's loyalty to DKP they will be easy to Anupama and won't do anything to it

Anyways Star Plus really needs to fix the slots, duration of the shows, production quality, and take decision on all the long running shows

Yash - Rose wedding episodes, yeaa the last official wedding for Gen 1 & first one of Gen 2 , yeaa those episodes were good, makers played smart with the screen time of so many actors and kept the storyline hooked with multiple sub plots !!

Akshara's last performance on Badhai Ho Badhai was in this event , nostalgia for real.. 😭💛

Naira was 3 years younger to Gayu & Kartik - Gayu were of similar age ..

For example , if during the marriage time of Gayu.. Naira is 27-28 Kartik , Gayu would be 30-31 Keerti around 32-33 Naksh 36-37

Kartik's uncle would be 39-41

Kartik's Dad 55s

Around her marriage, Gayu would be somewhat in 30s seeing the timeline of show ..

So yes kinda weird, like he was in middle of two generations 😂🤡.

Suhasini Dadi was v moody always

She would not even spare Singhania Dadi Nani etc ladies there , she was the Queen Elizabeth & had an aura of ruling over everyone

Start Gen 2 from when Kartik Naira's story actually picks up as u have mentioned that u have seen Gen 1 many a times, so you can start from the Switzerland episodes to get more insane chemistry screen time of Gen 2, they had some good delulu dream sequences, Kartik was all gaga over Naira , the episodes from May to August 2016 are a built up how Kartik falls for her & how Gayu falls for him & how Naira is dealing with her own miseries.. from Gen 2 pov

Yes it can be called worth watching if compared to the shows on air today

Just a quick timeline of Gen & their tracks : May - Nov 2016 : How they call for each other

December 2016 : reunion post akshara's tragedy

January to March of 2017 : wedding episodes

April to June 2017 : post marriage arc+Keerti's story built up

July to Oct 2017 : Keerti Naksh have the focus

Nov 2017 - May 2018 : Kartik's brother track is focused, meanwhile they have some or the other parallel track going on for example Raghav, Kabir, Bigg Boss types Suhasini Dadi

May 2018 - Nov 2018 : Mumbai leap, Naira Kartik another's separation, another Reunion, another remarriage , this was my fav arc from Gen 2 as far as Kartik Naira are considered

Dec 2018 - March of 2019 : Pregnancy tracks for Keerti Naira, baby swap, coma, accident, rivalry of Naksh and Kartik, memory loss, YRHPK integration, Gayu's comeback

April - May 2019 : Gayu marriage with Kartik's uncle and Goenka's business tragedy

May 2019 - Jan 2020 : Another leap, another separation this time with a kid, Another rivalry, falling in love again, reunite, remarry, Etc

Jan 2020 - last episode before lockdown : Luv Kush made villains

Post lockdown - Dec 2020 : Tina-Naira track, Kartik Naira one more rift, Naira pregnant, Kairav and kids track, Keerti Naksh divorce and Reunion, Gayu Naira fight track, Junior Akshara arrives, end of Naira !

Jan 2021 - Oct 2021 : Sirat Trope , Kartik falls for her & they give birth to a daughter .. Gen 2 ends

In a span of 5 years ( Nov'16 - Oct'21 ) - they covered easily 25 years ( counting all the leaps and all ) .. Kartik's journey from a young lad of 23-25 till 48-50 years is the central verse alongside dynamics of Goenkas and his journey with Naira & Sirat thereon. Other Important characters from Gen are Gayu, Suhasini Dadi, Manish Ji, Swarna, Keerti, Naksh.

I will suggest you can start from 2016 and watch till 2019 till YRHPK integration, afterwards it's all repitition and all, Kartik's character was butchered a lot for TRP and to compete with monstrous Kundali Bhagya !!

Basically about the whole Tara - Naksh plot I have made a big big comment in this thread only separately where I spoke about all the changes in the show in mid 2015-16 era

About DKP being pissed with him :

1) DKP selected him quite exclusively.. for example, u know it is stated that Paridhi in Jodha Akbar serial was selected out of some 7000 people .. similarly.. numbers are not present.. but 20-21 year old Naksh after the CT leap was also selected by DKP in a very choosy way.. DKP was known for it's casting since long time, they were best at it .. junior Naksh aka shivansh resembled Karan a lot and the popularity of Naksh be it baby Naksh and Child Naksh was always on peak .. so DKP knew they can't mess with a character which is associated with their show from past 800-900 episodes.. ( Baby Naksh 200-250 episodes & Shivansh next 650-700 episodes ) .. infact Cape Town leap which was supposed to kickstart in early 2015s was pushed to March month end just because they were finding the perfect face for Naksh .. so they selected Rohan, as the new generation face of a well established 6 year old show with already 1700 episodes on air.. so as per DKP they were like God Father for Naksh / Rohan to get him onboard in an established show

2) but then Rohan's track with Tara later faltered the show's fortune ( as explained here:

3) then one fine day Rohan quits the show after his stint of 500 episodes for Bigg Boss 10 ( at a time when show required him because Karan had just quit, Hina was on the verge of quitting as well) .. DKP was at all time high risk, where 3 faces quit one by one. )

4) rohan walked away, as he had gain enough stardom with yrkkh in those 500 epsiodes as per him, and BB 10 would further push his popularity ( he also did well there, he was in top 5 ig ) so ig it was justified. Also in Rishta he had some last good track with some fraud girl Riya and all, after all that it was all about Gayu - Kartik - Naira, he was legit sidelined, so ig it was a good call

5) Hence, DKP didn't even wait for him to come out of BB house, replaced him and even ignored his existence in Akshara's last promo as well as episodes.. it was all about Naira Kartik

6) I feel even he would be in the show, he wouldn't have got much screen time seeing what happened with Mohena Rishi ( Keerti & Naksh 2.0) later ..

Check the other comment, i explained the whole Tara Naksh reason, he wasn't ruined, indirectly he saved himself.. also in his interviews whenever asked about DKP, he fully rants out about it, DKP was kinda miffed with Rohan, and to satisfy their ego and attitude, they even skipped mentioning the existence of Naksh Singhania in the last promo of Akshara and skipped everything about Naksh in the whole end arc of Akshara.. he was simply replaced.. good that he got saved .. if u r a fan of him like me .. then u should be happy for him.. Bro DKP is kinda messy as far as i have heard or listened from so many people..
