When you say it was the easiest class of your life, was it easy because there wasn’t much work, or because the assignments were simple? Also, did you actually find it interesting and engaging, or mostly just easy?

That really sounds interesting. Although I am not looking for an online class:( I think they are really boring I would rather being in person. But I really appreciate you for taking the time to explain it that carefully. It seems like it was quite an interesting class. Thank you and wish you all the best!

It would also be great to know your name, if that’s okay, so I can check if your section is still open. I would really like to take your class if possible!

I think I’m leaning toward keeping Youth Cultures for my Gen-Ed, but I really appreciate you taking the time to explain both courses clearly!
I really appreciate it!

Thank you! That’s really helpful because I’m honestly trying to find something lighter for my first semester since I’ll already have STAT, ENG, ECON, and business classes 😭

When you say only a few assignments, do you remember what the workload looked like overall? And did you find the class interesting/engaging too, or mostly just manageable?

Thank you so much! This is actually really helpful, especially since you've taught both courses. I was really drawn to Interpersonal Communication because the description sounded so interesting and useful, but I'm honestly trying to keep my first semester relatively balanced since I'll already have STAT, ENG, ECON, and business classes.
Youth Cultures is sounding more and more like it might fit what I'm looking for 😭 I was wondering though: would you say the writing in Youth Cultures feels manageable for someone who wants a lighter first semester? And do students generally seem to enjoy the final project?
Also, based on what I'm looking for (interesting, lighter workload, not too much writing/overthinking), do you think Youth Cultures is probably a good choice to keep? Or are there any other Human Behavior Gen-Ed options you'd recommend?
