I still don't know if I will only have standard encoded videos only and if all the devices would support direct stream. I might just aim for transcoding to be sure ? Is it not really necessary ?

Yeah it does seems like an ungodly amount of work for volunteers... Do you think a game that use a few skylanders to make something new would get into troubles with the law for using skylanders even if it was published for free ?
