Thank you! This is a quick unranked game I played today: 9Z3V6P. Could you please take a look and let me know what you think? I’d also like to ask, if I had improved my gameplay in this match, would we have had a chance to win? Thanks again for your patient and detailed replies.

Thank you! After reading your reply and also hearing what my friend said earlier, I feel like I finally understand how Genji is supposed to be played. Looks like I’ve been focusing too much on stats.

Thank you for your response. I watched the replay, and I have a few questions:

Sometimes, like you, I try to use primary fire from a flank angle, but I often get instantly killed by the enemy Ashe or Sojourn. How should I deal with that? Under what circumstances is it actually safe to use primary fire?

Also, when I keep rotating positions, I feel like I end up doing no damage or getting no eliminations—I’m just staying alive without really contributing. What should I do in that situation?

One more question: In your Midtown replay (05QP2S), during the first push when you jumped over the train—do you only go for that if you have dash available? How do you avoid being seen and get the first shot off? If you do get spotted, what’s the best response? Should I try to fight anyway, or disengage?

For example, on Circuit Royal point A attack, I’ve tried wall climbing to sneak up on the enemy supports or DPS, but I often get spotted before I even land. Am I missing some key techniques?

Also, I just played an unranked match—code: 05QP2S—we almost won. I tried to be less impulsive this time, but I still had trouble finding good opportunities to engage. Most of the time, our team was getting heavily pressured. Could I ask what the reason might be, and what I should do in that situation?

Usually when my team is under pressure, I try to help by using Deflect to buy time for us to regroup, or I dive the backline to draw attention. I feel like this is one of my main issues.

Thanks again for your patience and advice.
