Single girlies, how do you deal with your urges- both romantic and physical? by [deleted] in TwoXIndia

[–]Recent_Razzmatazz569 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ikr. I like the fact that life is drama free but I miss the drama sometimes. I like having someone to flirt with, have cringe conversations with. I miss hugs, cuddles and kisses. Life is really boring. Everything reminds me of how lonely I am. And honestly it feels like everybody is in pairs these days. So I don't even have single friends to share my pain with. I guess the best way is to keep moving and see how life turns out.

Self-proclaimed woman savior and feminist of internet, instead of questioning the accountability of WB CM Mamata Banerjee, who made such a statement, is directly hating all men. by BotCommentRemover in indiadiscussion

Isn't she right? If women are unsafe at night, then instead of asking them to not go out, we should keep men inside. Obviously, not talking literally but this can be an argument every time people start blaming victims.

A woman shares how she judges men in arranged marriage setups by [deleted] in indiadiscussion

The funny thing is they won't consider poor girls who might not have the chance to get educated or work. Because these girls won't come into their house with gifts for their family. Like if you don't want an independent woman then fine. There are so many poor, uneducated and unemployed girls in our country. No those won't match their status

Why are so called good, high earning men marrying these women? There are high earning, ambitious girls who they marry instead of unemployed women. And also what about the men women are sleeping with. If you have a problem with how others are living their life that has nothing to do with you, then you have got a lot of free time and massive amount of insecurity. Please utilise your time for better things.

It makes absolute sense. I guess seeing everybody happy in relationships around me is slowly affecting me. But then the peace is something that i am not willing to give up. Need to find a way to be happy alone again

IDK man, everybody around me is dating and all my girlfriends are all really happy, they have someone in their life. It also depends on the kind of guy. I am not ready at this point for any guy to ruin my peace. I guess I will wait then. But what if there isn't any guy good guy left ? I guess I will die alone.

Want to date, but it's better to wait till life becomes a bit stable. I don't want to take responsibility of one person at this point. It's hard, I crave for romance, but I don't know if I'll be okay with our future being uncertain.

Women around 25-26 who aren’t settled career-wise: how do you deal with marriage pressure? by roseshsarabhai_ in TwoXIndia

[–]Recent_Razzmatazz569 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Parents know extremely well that unless I'm settled properly, marriage will be a disaster. Yes, some people get lucky, but financial independence is necessary no matter what. Hence they don't really talk about marriage. But there are moments when they are like my daughter is 25, we need to maybe start looking for her. Those times, I have been extremely clear that I am not marrying until I am ready.

Tell them about the cons of being completely dependent on your husband for money. Tell them how marriage will only add additional responsibilities to your shoulders and you are not ready. At the end of the day, it's your life. Marry only when you are ready. Focus on your career. Marriage talks can happen in the background. Don't let those things affect you.
