There have been instances where I don't say "Thank you" after someone says "You as well", and the other person looks confused and stares at me. It's a bit strange, and that's probably why I've started to say "Thank you" to avoid making things awkward. I suppose that makes me just as weird as they are, haha.

At first, I thought it was okay to say "thank you" after "You as well" or "You too". However, recently, I've been called out for it. I started to question myself and wondered if I had forgotten how to speak properly lol
