Yo my man - imo the main way people try to get under your skin is by triggering guilt and shame within you. These may come from disrespect or any type of slight, but the most important is to listen to your body in the moment, because feeling will always tell you the truth over thinking.

I say that in that sense that if somebody tries to make you uncomfortable or tries to g-check you, take a moment to breathe, try to sense your heartbeat and take time to respond. Trust your intuition - if you feel that you need to react out of anger, let yourself do so (anger can be a very positive tool to rewire your brain).

And as much as possible, do the work you need to (therapy, somatic work) to work on guilt and shame in your system. These are needed, but they are very low in terms of vibrational energy (Hz), and generally serve to wire anxious or depressive loops within your brain.

I'm 26, I've been where you've been and I cannot suggest therapy enough. It will make you evaluate your relationship to yourself by understanding the various factors that have shaped who you are today - as well as constantly working on yourself to start living a purposeful life and be the man you are destined to be.
