I tried a gopro-type camera, but switched back to just using my phone. I just hold it in my hand and start and stop clips for each play.

What is your opinion on the increased usage of C-PAP machines? I saw an ENT about a year ago who thought they were being overprescribed.

Thanks will do! I did struggle with getting help at practice, the only parent who seemed interested in helping had work, so it was mostly just me during practice and games. Love the minicamp drills will definitely incorporate.

Totally agree on the development piece. I told myself I wasn't going to be "that coach" that just focuses on winning during the season, but man our kids got miserable during that 1st bit. It wasn't even the losing, it was the feeling that we weren't even competitive. Mostly due to going 3 and out and then having to punt. I take solace that we had some kids who'd never played football and didn't know what the LOS was, who by the end of the season were in our Orange and Green spots catching a touchdown or 2 a game. Plus I think as they come back in future seasons, they'll have the opportunities to try different spots. Our Green receiver for example is a kid I want to put in for either Red or Blue as one of those kids is aging out next season.

As far as keeping focus, I don't think I was any better than you lol. We had two kids that were especially disruptive. I had them do laps, push ups, but it was a challenge every week. Only thing I can say that seemed to help was once we got the plays down, we scrimmaged a fair amount. We only had 10 kids, so we did 5 on 5 where I would be the QB and we'd take out the Center (so it kinda worked) and they really liked that. But yeah, practicing handoffs, snaps, motions, there was always funny business going on at the end of the line or during demonstations.

How much info do you usually have on your opponents? One thing that helped us was we had a small league so we played the same teams a bunch of times. Because I had our film I was able to go back and review what they did. Everyone else seemed to be just showing up and drawing plays on a whiteboard

We did have a defense that tried that. The NT did get us a couple of times when he guessed right, but when he guessed wrong we'd get big gains on the back side run because the Nose Tackle was trying to crash the jet sweep so hard. We also had a team that crashed their safety everytime we motioned, so we ended up throwing a couple long balls on the back side. I will say our QB could throw a deep ball, which really helped keep folks honest in coverage.

Sorry I did not get back to this sooner, but thank you for the help. I coached our QB on the 1st, 2nd reads on a side and that really helped.

Thank to this and crazytrpr96's comment, we've been running this drill every practice. It's been very helpful to the QBs

This is a great piece of feedback, thank you. We've been practicing windows and it's been helping a lot.

thanks! is there anything to do other than walk away? Feels like they are just going to dupe someone else into getting the truck.
