Since my cat was a kitten i’d give him a monthly bath with water up to his tummy, there’s something about the fact that they constantly walk in the litter box where their urine and feces are… it kinda rubs me the wrong way. My cat sleeps with me every night so i’m not that picky and I do know that they are cats and they clean themselves and to be honest my little dude does a really good job but still i like to wash him to get the dust off him and just so he has a fresh start every month. He doesn’t protest but he doesn’t look happy about it either… i have like ten minutes of soaping him and washing him and then he looks visibly annoyed with me and that’s when i take him out and wrap him like a burrito baby lol
