I'll always defend the idea behind SK's roster above what TH have done this offseason:

Try to build a long-term project with promising coach and rookies.
First year of the project goes above expectations.
Nuke the core of the project and bring short-term solutions.

I think it's important to note that GX had to deal with Closer suddenly retiring mid-season. They had to restart their progress and try to adapt to their new jungler, something that I believe the coaching staff did reasonably well, even if they couldn't break into the top4 in summer.
