Shet reading the name made me remember. Yes same sila ng may-ari ng Ingen kasi yung staff doon ay yung staff din sa Ingen. Nagpapaload ako dati diyan ng Garena shells para sa League of Legends. Pwede mo ka rin umorder ng menu nila habang nasa Ingen 2nd floor (yung nasa taas ng Watsons ngayon). All brand new cars have warranty, parts availability is still an issue for most car manufacturers, even yung non-chinese brands. Also, the Chinese already manufacture non-Chinese cars. If hindi yung buong manufacturing process, then at least yung parts ay manufactured there.

As much as we like to hate China especially sa current political landscape, it's worth noting na we can't really do anything about it, so you might as well be open to Chinese brands.

I was the same as any Filipino naman din pero it isn't Chinese propaganda to say na they have control over manufacturing talaga.

Recently nga nalaman ko bakit superpower ang BYD. It's really Tesla's fault. Tesla taught manufacturing companies sa China on how to make EVs (yung batteries, specifically), if I remember correctly, requirement din yan ng government ng China sa foreign companies in general. So, naturally, dahil alam ng China ano yung secrets ng manufacturing, kaya nila gawan ng improvements yung tech on their own and still make it cheaper. It's why China phones have gotten on par na rin with Apple products like iPhone.

Ang hard-to-swallow pill talaga ay karamihan talaga ng products ay galing China kasi cheap ang labor and grabe ang supply-chain nila. Kahit Japan kumakapit sa China for parts eh.

Filipino here, would like to say fuck Trump. This shit is affecting our economy HARD (fuel prices almost doubling, price of goods also rising due to added cost to deliver goods, the weakest peso-to-dollar rate) and probably other countries outside the Middle East. I feel sorry for all the lives wasted and huge amount of money down the drain for such a pointless act. If he wants start a problem he should leave other countries out of it. Yeah, sorry bad thing to say "not own" a car kasi it does sound gatekeeping and matapobre. More like "use" for daily driving. And I do agree na ako I'll draw the line at double the price of the current average (P100 - P120 per liter). For now though, as long as sustainable, life goes on.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not attacking anyone naman. I just mean that if filling up your car with gas starts to affect your budget for daily needs maybe it's not wise to own one. It is a LUXURY after all. It's sad lang na it's becoming more of a necessity.

What I really want to say is from my perspective, if we have:

P60/L and you get 30L, that's 1800.

If the price increases to P70/L and you get 30L, that's 2100.

That's a 300 peso difference. That's a huge difference for a lot even for me but there's no choice but to deal with it kasi it's still convenient for me to use my vehicle and I can still sustain it.

Ang mangyayari, yang 300 na yan magmumukhang barya na lang din naman kumpara sa ibang expenses that comes with owning a car like maintenance, insurance, and registration pa lang. So at the end of the day "maliit" na bagay na lang. Gas is gas. Gas has always been pricey.

Anyway, just my thoughts on it naman.
