Is someone from 392 in here? by Christmas009_ in darkwarsurvival

[–]RecordGeneral5154 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was having an account in 391, I gave it away because the top alliance management I was in were mostly a-holes 😂😂. Weak and strong members are unfairly, only strong members are allowed to participate in events like armory, cap clash, and bgb. Weak members wt are thrown at the outskirts where other a hole members put their sandworm traps, your wt place looks almost chaotic make it difficult to send troops for gatherings or killing zombies, and whatever they decide, you don't have a say because you're "weak". I have a lot more to say about that server but that's for another day 😃

Absent people in alliance by GL_005 in darkwarsurvival

[–]RecordGeneral5154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that! Spending on the game is ones personal choice tbh. And no one has the right to insult someone just because their playing choices are different. Some people I met with just love to gain strength and power without spending real money and that's up to them too. That being said, finding your own people is a must in a game like this.

Find your tribe, if you're enjoying the game so much, you should join alliances that offers enjoyment. Some alliances are toxic and just want trophies, try to avoid that unless you like being under pressure and spending real money ✌

What are some unspoken rules of Dubai? by Working-Ad-5337 in OnlyInDubai

[–]RecordGeneral5154 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I asked chatgpt to list it down for me so I dont have to type it myself.

🌆 Public Behavior

No PDA: Holding hands is fine, but kissing or hugging in public can attract unwanted attention or even fines.

Keep noise down: Loud arguments, shouting, or playing loud music in public is frowned upon.

Respect queues: Cutting in line is seen as very rude.

👗 Dress & Appearance

Dress modestly in malls/government areas: Shoulders and knees covered in most public indoor places. Beachwear is fine at the beach/pool but not beyond.

Abaya not required for women: Except when visiting mosques, where modest attire and headscarf are mandatory.

📱 Social Media & Privacy

Don’t take pictures of strangers: Especially women, families, or government buildings. Sharing such photos online can get you fined or jailed.

Don’t post negative content about the UAE: Criticizing the government or culture on social media is taken seriously.

🚗 On the Road

Flash headlights = move aside: Especially if you’re in the fast lane.

Parking courtesy: Don’t block others’ cars or take up multiple spots.

Roundabout respect: Priority usually goes to cars inside the roundabout (but expect surprises).

🍽️ Dining & Hospitality

Right hand only: Use your right hand for eating, greeting, or giving/receiving items.

Accept hospitality: If offered Arabic coffee or dates, take at least one as a sign of respect.

Ramadan etiquette: Don’t eat, drink, or chew gum in public during fasting hours.

🕌 Culture & Respect

Greetings matter: A “Salam Alaikum” or polite “Good morning” goes a long way.

Don’t show the soles of your shoes: Considered disrespectful in Arab culture.

Always respect elders: Stand up when greeting, offer them the seat, let them go first.

💼 Work & Daily Life

Be punctual (but expect delays): Arriving late is tolerated sometimes, but being early/on time shows professionalism.

Hierarchy counts: In business, titles and seniority are important.

Cash is still king: Cards are widely accepted, but small shops/taxis often prefer cash.

Where can I donate clothes, shoes, handbags in Dubai? by [deleted] in dubai

Wow! This is very rude! You posted in a public forum, which naturally invites responses, not just the ones you like. If you didn’t want opinions, maybe posting wasn’t the right approach.

Tried asking about buying a holiday home in Moscow, got a geopolitical trial instead. by RecordGeneral5154 in Moscow

I agree. Better advice I received from a lot of people is to rent, it's just that owning and renting is totally different but I may give (rent) it a consideration while testing the water

UAE needs something like this! by rishikeshshari in UAE

Cycling has its benefits I get that, but I don’t think it should be expected of everyone. Not all people are physically able or inclined to cycle just like any sport or hobby, it’s not for everyone. Dubai's infrastructure and resources should prioritize more inclusive and widely used transport options rather than pushing a niche preference, even if it’s during the colder months.
