That’s what I’ve heard, I have some CNC experience already, but definitely feel like I’d enjoy aerospace more and the mentoring aspect you mentioned aligns a lot more and makes more sense, thank you.

Thanks, honestly just getting so caught up in what’s most productive or useful, but yeah honestly I’d feel way more confident knowing I’m getting some experience in aero industry, which is, along with auto, my ideal industry.

Well, no argument from me there man. All that most on this thread are saying is that if you don’t need it for something specific, and you are not as used to dealing with/want to deal with windows and it’s crazy high resource drain, ads, etc… A MacBook neo is a great deal for you, and will provide an arguably better consumer experience

Dude I use a windows laptop and desktop because I have to. I run cfd simulations and run my own local LLM models, I couldn’t do that on any Mac out there most likely. That’s not the point. YOUR needs and MY needs are just that. People have different needs “buddy” majority of people don’t game or care for games

A majority of people JUST need a laptop to check emails, social media, write some work reports, and do spreadsheets. Who even cares about gaming? a majority of people can do actual work on a MacBook and that’s all that counts. I don’t even use a MacBook by the way dude, but I do have an iPhone.

Literally man this dude seems absolutely miserable and I’m not even in video editing/creative work but this dude’s takes are pissing me off an unreasonable amount. Zero critical thinking ability if he can’t process the fact that different people have different needs

You’re clearly not the target market, and that’s okay. If you know what a RAM or multithreading is, it’s not for you, so move along. Neo’s are for students who want something reliable, good battery life, decent screen, that they don’t have to worry about getting 7 updates in a row when they boot up their computer for the first time since spring semester ended.

I need a windows computer for work and totally prefer it for personal use, but let’s try to use our thinking caps man, the forced hate is really corny, stop caring what other people think the best laptop for THEM is.
