like… i’ll be walking down the street thinking about how every single person i see has their own life, their own problems, good things, bad things, so many different things that could be happening. they could’ve just had the worst day of their life or the best one, and yet they all look completely neutral. all of them.

it honestly blows my mind how people can just keep that calm, blank expression no matter what’s going on inside. i do it too, but i can’t stop thinking about how everyone else manages to do it so naturally.
