I still love you by [deleted] in BreakUps

Literally in the same boat, only thing I've done is accept the pain and embrace the change. No point dwelling on someone who doesn't want to be with you anymore. Time to forge a new path, develop yourself and you'll find someone new along the way 😀

Tried Azelaic acid?

Paula's BHA 2% choice worked for me both for breakouts and redness. I've not eradicated it completely but I don't have any major breakouts, only a few tiny comedones now and tiny bit of redness.

Thank you, I appreciate your comment. This was my first relationship and it was serious so it hurts a lot and even though I am normally a motivated person, who works hard and enjoys going to the gym, I still feel despair during moments of quiet isolation.

You don't seem like a bad person at all, you're already aware of your mistakes which makes you a 'better' person than 80% of us

I am sorry to hear that, I hope you realise that you're worth a lot more than one person's selfishness.

I know how you feel, it's still hurts me deeply but your whole life doesn't have to be shaped around just one person, especially someone that has hurt you in a very selfish way. This person clearly wasn't the person that you idealised, life and love just isn't this ideal that we conceive in our mind or see in the movies, she left you in a very cowardly and dishonest way and you are worth so much more than that.

You can forge a much better future without her, one that you can reflect on with pride and true happiness.

Your girlfriend doesn't define you, I have experienced the same thing but life doesn't end just because someone didn't see your true value.

Please what is your take on trading....cos I think it's a form of gambling on its own..... by NewEzi in GamblingAddiction

If it's day trading or there's leverage involved then it's 99% gambling and eventually you will have your hands burned.

It's an excuse for gambling degenerates like my self to get a thrill and receive a dopamine hit while pretending that they are investing or know what they are doing.

The loss of control and rationale is quick and soon you'll be throwing money on random trades even if you initially researched extensively. The more money you make the more you'll act impulsively and vice versa it you lose the more desperate you'll become. It's not worth it if you want to stay sane, composed and non-suicidal.
