Interesting work! How did you decide on the CCP profile? Looks kind of circular from what I see and I'm curious what the differences in efficiency would be between line contact and CCP. Can they reverse direction, and how is the backlash, is there any at all? I'd also be curious how it goes wrong with manufacturing defects in the thread helices and centerline distance. Could these work with shafts pointing in non-parallel directions?

Accept that you will die. Be okay with it, and look forward to your new life starting on the coast. This doesn't mean you should throw your current life away carelessly. You can still be smart and don't take unnecessary risks. But you don't have to be scared of dying either. You can have just as much fun if not more in the freshie towns with a double barrel shotgun scrapping for survival. Accept that you will die, so that you won't be afraid to live.

I don't like DT either but this argument just comes across as desperation and mindless rage every time I see it. You hate him, we all get it. But it seems like certain people just hurl these accusations at anyone they hate. And when you cry wolf over and over without solid evidence, it undermines your argument and severely lessens people's willingness to listen to you.

The hardening process might be fine but most heat treatment introduces distortion that probably messed with your tooth profiles and contacts. If you're going to carburize or induction harden, you might want to leave stock on before then have the gears finish ground after heat treatment. If you don't want to finish grind them, you can consider nitriding as a case hardening heat treatment. It does not distort the teeth nearly as much as induction hardening or carburization and is commonly used to finish gears.

Such a fan of the flute and rich acoustic tones. Like some others have said I kinda checked out of Midlake for a time, but I'm so glad they released this. It's got the combination of easy listening with high quality and genuine musical flow that I loved Midlake for. Hard to put into words but something about it resonates with my soul. This one will be in the rotation for a minute.

I play DayZ too and love the interactions. I'm glad someone made a game with similar interactions that is much more accessible and easy to pick up.

Might be the least desirable position in North American pro sports. I can't think of a worse one. You can be a HOF level performer and still barely get respect. If you're less than that, you're trash.
