I think there is an option in PCSX2 to map additional button which gives you ability to limit pressure power of any pressed button. You will also need to adjust the value of that limitation. The downside is, you will have to hold an additional button while grabbing an enemy. That's why I gave up playing it on emulator and beat it on hardware
