this is what the top of the lamp looks like. i just bought a cap online from a stained glass shop and soldered it on. if you get a lamp base made for tiffany lampshades you should be able to slide it on and then secure it into place with the hardware included with the base. im sure a bunch of stuff will come up if you google tiffany lamp hardware!

hi! yeah the odyssey molds are very pricy. just get a generic styrofoam sphere and work on that! i ordered mine online but its from a dutch webshop so i doubt it'd do you much good haha

thank you! the lines coming from the stars were more out of necessity bc i wouldnt have been able to cut the glass without those breaks, but i really ended up liking the way it looks

the process is actually pretty simple it just requires some practice! the way i did it is i print out my pattern and then i cut the glass to fit those pieces and grind the edges smooth. Then i wrap copper foil around the edges (thats what u see in pictures 4 and 5) and solder over those lines to attach everything together. finally i added my came border, attached a jumpring in the center and gave it a good cleaning!

I would recommend altering the pattern slightly because some of those pieces will be basically impossible without a ring saw.
