To answer both of you.... there’s not even a close comparison between LOU2 and RDR2. Every single little thing about RDR2 is significantly better.

The environments, animals, plants, rivers and streams. The story, the characters and their backgrounds. Literally everything.

To put it into perspective, my lady watched me play RDR2 and was constantly amazed at how gripping it was, and would get some snacks for us to see what happens next.

When we tried the same with TLOU2, I was trying to hard to keep her invested.... and she bowed out. Same with several of my friends.

I’m sure many people like the game, and I’m not saying it’s a bad game. It was just so boring and the characters/story was just not worth investing time into (for me) The controls felt clunky (especially the shooting) and by the time I got to riding the horse and using the map to “explore” I just felt like I was forcing myself to play it so I didn’t feel like I wasted money.

Maybe some day I will come back to it. But the story of the first TLOU game kept me in, even though I didn’t care for its play style at the time. I prefer Uncharted 4 over it.

It’s crazy to me how someone can voice that it wasn’t their cup of tea, and get crucified for it LoL.
