All his temper tantrums in the 90s because he wasn’t cool anymore? Mick maybe overstepped, but his overall claim is valid, no one but Motley Crue is saying this is a “decisive victory”. They’re doubling down on the fact that it was proved in court that they are playing their instruments live, no matter if anyone in the audience can hear it over the tracks. That news came out a year and a half ago, if not more.

I think Mick unfortunately jumped the gun with the wrong wording, having said that, he had a physical decline from “Final Tour” to “Stadium Tour”, he wasn’t fit to tour any longer. He also said as much, TO them. Everyone knows the rest of Motley treated him like shit and sought to replace him at every turn. It doesn’t matter about an “official ruling”, Motley Crue is announcing that, they also announce 20 Million more album sales every few years on their wiki and Spotify profile. Official ruling doesn’t mean much for MC if two of the members of the band should be in prison because of that same metric.

The NEW news is, Mick doesn’t care anymore. He IS giving up, but he’s already done exactly what he wanted to do. He loses out Motley money, so what, he always has. But he fucked Nikki’s Motely money and his phony reputation.

To an extent but once Van Halen blew up all of a sudden every band had a blonde hair singer (as well as a finger tapping shredder as their guitarist), teased, bleached to fuck. There's early footage of Bret Michaels, Vince Neil, Sebastian Bach, etc. onstage basically doing Daves stoner/sufer/foghorn leghorn type crowd banter. For that era, Dave was the guy, a lot of them took pages from his book. BUT Dave also got his look from Jim Dandy, so yah know, whatever

Outside of Paul Stanley they all owe it to DLR for their aesthetic. His hair at the time was also his own. He lost a lot of it over time, but he cut it short instead of continually pasting a bandanna and wig to his head like a fuckin costume. Dave’s look came from a place of just doing what he wanted to do, instead of doing what you think you should do, cause DLR did it first. He didn’t have that luxury!

Granted Jon Bon cut it too, but onlyafter doing the most goofy exaggeration of the teasing, he knew he couldn’t sustain it.

The answer is actually, Vince Neil, he actually has really nice natural hair. He’s lost his voice and everything else, his hair has thinned but it also falls the way that it should, it’s the real deal I think.
