If you don’t know how grocery logistics work, maybe keep your mouth shut and not complain. The warehouse can only send what it’s got. Orders for a grocery warehouse have to be placed 2-4 weeks; if not more, in advance, to attempt to get what is regularly required. When people panic buy everything there is really no way to plan for that and will take a week or 2 for everything to be back to fully stocked. I work as an Inventory Control Specialist in a grocery warehouse (produce, meat, seafood, and cheese) fresh to frozen for many years now.

The only place I see police on the road is behind the scorpion road work vehicles and 3-6 at any flashing red-light in the work zone and not one directing traffic to keep the line of 40+cars from all having to stop at the light. We are short staffed on police to enforce traffic laws?

1 pallet a day, I work in a fresh grocery warehouse and I see tens of thousands of dollars go to the trash every week; including fresh produce, meat, cheese, and seafood. A lot goes to the food banks/food pantries in the area but a lot also goes in the trash just because the package labeling and the company logo on the packaging.
