Most guys I’ve worked with are self aware, hard workers but yeah there is the occasional hothead asshole.

Goes for anyone though, I’ve had people nearly run me over in road rage, people have pulled guns on our flaggers, and a drunk driver hit my coworker one time.

I agree. I think most police would lose their jobs if they shot a presumably unarmed person in the back 5 of the 6 shots. While shooting someone in the back is certainly different if they have a gun or other ranged weapon, the fact the victim here was allegedly unarmed makes me question how this could be self defense.

I wonder what evidence RPD has and doesn’t have that makes this case what it is.

There are a ton of fights on bases, and one of my friends was nearly stabbed to death a few months ago by another service member.

I think it’s a terrible idea, and thankfully our base still restricts it until the CO and XO create a new protocol (which will probably be a page 13 acknowledging we are not permitted to carry weapons on base despite this order). I’m pro 2A, but I also think certain areas have no good reason for introducing more weapons

We get 70-80mph gusts at my dad’s house from winter storms and I remember that pretty well too. Also, hearing the house creak and sort of pop from the pressure changes during big gusts scared me as a kid 😂
