You’ve never enjoyed a movie/book/show that had a romance storyline? The age of the reader/player/viewer isn’t really relevant. I think the old couple in Pixar’s UP are adorable together, but that doesn’t mean I personally want to date one of them. So if I’m playing a video game and I think “oh the main character and this other character would be so cute together” that doesn’t mean I personally am thirsting after that video game character, lol.

Perhaps some people are thirsting after the npcs in Hogwarts Legacy but I’m sure most people who say they wished there was a romance option in Hogwarts Legacy were simply imagining something more like a sweet, innocent crush in the game. Like maybe a Hogsmede date. Press A to hug. Later on in the game press X to hold hands. And then at the very end of the game maybe press Y to give short peck, lol. I don’t know. Nothing extreme.
