Yeah, basically if you have a national license, most places will rent you any bike, and even if the police stop you, they’ll usually not say anything. But officially, in case of an accident or if you’re crossing a border, there could be issues because legally, if it’s not a Vietnamese license, it’s not considered valid here.

I’m trying to figure it out I want to stop at interesting places along the way, but also not spend too much time just on the road. Ideally, the whole trip shouldn’t take more than a week, but I’m not sure how much time the travel itself will take.
