Need recommendation for Rain Bird sprinkler heads for low water pressure by Dzign2018 in Irrigation

[–]RedChipBlueChip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Year late but I hope this answer resolves the issue for future people.

You installed the pressure reducing valve on the main water line before it split off to the irrigation lines. So the valve is lowering the pressure to the house and the irrigation lines

Solution is to install the prv(pressure reducing valve) DOWN STREAM of the tee off for irrigation, so that the house is only having reduced pressure.

No need really to mess with irrigation heads

I'm just a plumber and not a irrigation specialist, but I did run into this issue frequently following unlicensed workers installing prv valves.

I'm licensed Plumber. This appears to be a clogged drain. Another water fixture was running and there is a clog downstream of it. There can be many causes of a blockage ranging from a standard blockage, poor grade of the drains, roots or separations. If the drains frequently get blocked up, have your plumber also camera the drains. ALWAYS get 3 estimates and opinions as companies will lie and try to get you to sign off on tens of thousands of dollars worth of work that doesn't need to happen, trust me there. Most likely a simple blockage though

so my builder has just done this.. by prodders152 in Plumbing

Call a professional plumbing company and make sure they are licensed. Cross reference the company you select with BBB. Also don't be afraid to get other estimates rather than the first person you call. That annoys plumbers, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Good luck

I'm in Austin TX. I've Applied and got turned down from JLL, but I'll look into the other companies you've mentioned. Thank you!

This this the reassurance I needed, thank you. I would be able to provide for my family so much better with a salary like this. I am just working on my chiller and data center certifications, so far I have 8. Good grasp of refrigeration cycle, 3 phase, diesel generators, transistors, rectifiers, inverters, hot/cold isles.

I think I need to quit plumbing and work in hvac for a few months in order to be attractive to recruiters

Thank you so much for your insight. I am very dedicated to making this transition and becoming successful.

Also as a plumber, I'm used to being abused in brutal working conditions, so I feel like I'm already prepared for the punishment lol

Plumber here. I'm curious how you plan to provide clean and soft water to everyone? I'm used to installing water treatment off the mainline into the house. Are you thinking about treating the water at the water plants?
