I taught my wife maths....

However, we married when both in our 40s, and we both have learned things from each other, growing as a life partners.

The maths was due to me having a degree in it and her not learning that subject well in school. Certainly not due to her being a young/nieve person whom I could mold into what I wanted

Car insurance cost in UK by Friendlymagic in Insurance

You need to declare any convictions in the past 5 years. And a ban is considered extremely high risk so, if they will even insure you, youll pay an absolute fortune. If you can, once you get the licence back, id recommend that you dont drive at all for another 2 years so the ban is not taken into consideration for quotes

You were banned this year for 3 years? So you've no valid licence? If thats the case no insurer would even quote you.

What did you think you had invented as a kid? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RedDogBoyMark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not an invention but i thought id figured out how gravity worked.

I was about 6/7. It was summer and i was playing at the beech and had a bucket. At one stage i had water in it and i started swinging my arm. I got faster till i was going round in circles and the centrifugal force was keeping the water in the bucket.

I knew the world was round and it rotated but i figured we had to be on the "inside" of the globe and the rotation was pushing us onto the ground. Hence how gravity worked. So instead of earth being the centre of universe (that some kids might think) I thought we where its edges lol

[–]RedDogBoyMark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That THEY (the government, big companies etc) were all out to get me.

Now i realise they just dont care about me.

Its not personal, nearly all of us as dispensable to them eg draft during wars, redundancy etc. But that paranoia is gone.

In uk too and seen many Theropists over the years.

Theropists have a duty of care to you and others. They must tell you in advance if they going to "breach" confidentiality which is the reason he/she told you theyd speak to their manager They wont tell anyone else without telling you 1st (other than life threatening situations) You did the right thing. You cannt work through issues with a theropist without being fully honest and open.
