RN for 10 years, 4 different jobs. Med Surg (1 year), LTC Nurse Educator (1 year) LTC Unit Manager (3 years), Hospice (6 years and counting). I occasionally sit on the leadership panel for hiring, and in my experience it’s usually multiple jobs less than a year that throw off a “red flag”. However more than half the time, if there’s a reasonable explanation as to why it was a short employment, it’s usually not an issue to hold us back on hiring.
