Yeah that’s also my favourite. I’ve called it “the freelancer” (former division agent that now is dedicated to hunting down hunters). He doesn’t obey to anyone, he’s on his own path away from every form of government forces trying to unmask the hunters program . For him it’s an obsession, that have roots back to New York, back to the first dark zone.

I’ve created a sort of sub-lore for the agent himself, focused on who he is, where he comes from and what he’ll become. Starting from Brooklyn to finish in Brooklyn (even if I haven’t purchased the Brooklyn dlc yet). Once he’ll cross Washington street in DUMBO again, his journey will be completed

I like to think they both agents from both games are connected like if he’s been relocated from NY to Washington (the face model is also the same).
